Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Reliability Technician to join our team in North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting maintenance and reliability programs in a regulated industry (such as pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or food manufacturing). This role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, improving asset performance, and minimizing unplanned downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment.

  • Utilize diagnostic tools and reliability methodologies to identify root causes of equipment issues.

  • Monitor equipment performance trends and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support maintenance strategies that align with compliance, safety, and production requirements.

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to optimize reliability.

  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of maintenance activities.

  • Assist in developing continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment uptime and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in maintenance or reliability, preferably in a regulated industry.

  • Strong understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance practices.

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems.

  • Familiarity with GMP compliance, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues effectively.

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies.

  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Knowledge of vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and other predictive technologies.

  • Experience supporting cleanroom or controlled environments.
